Y Miri Mawr, Machynlleth 18th August '09.
It was cloudy and warm as we arrived at Glyndwr's Parliament Building.
It took just over two and a half hours to drive down to Machylleth.
The journey took us through some glorious countryside; getting up at 5.45am was worth it.

After setting up on the green behind the historic building, we were introduced to Sian Lloyd and her husband. Sian and I judged a fancy dress competition which was won by a young lady, dressed beautifully in a flowing gown. Then we joined a parade through town ending in a very colourful marquee. There was lots to see and do, from have a go archery to building solar powered boats. We had a steady stream of visitors throughout the afternoon, still answering questions as we loaded up the car at 5.30pm. I look forward to working in Machynlleth again in the near future, the reception we recieved was tremendous.
